About The Position

The position involves providing direct and indirect nursing services to patients and families. The role requires a graduate of nursing school with at least 1 year of clinical experience. The nurse will be responsible for utilizing the nursing process and critical thinking to provide individualized patient care, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring patient safety and quality care. The nurse will also act as a preceptor and resource for other staff, demonstrating clinical leadership and accountability for patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Graduate of nursing school.
• 1 year of clinical experience (RNs with less than 12 months experience will complete new grad requirements).
• California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional certification.
• ACLS Certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support).
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
