About The Position

Join our team as a Clinical Nurse Coordinator at our David H. Koch Center. We're looking for a dynamic nursing professional eager to showcase compassionate, evidence-based nursing care skills and make a meaningful impact in our Cellular Therapy and Adult Bone Marrow Transplant Services. Role Overview: Work within a Nurse-Physician based Cellular Therapy and Bone Marrow Transplant Services Provide clinical support to staff members and assist with coordinating care for a case load of ambulatory patients receiving cellular therapies and/or bone marrow transplants Perform intake eligibility assessments, coordinate care, and assist with management of patients receiving cellular therapies and/or bone marrow transplants Provide patient and family education Act as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide continuity of care throughout various stages of treatment and follow-up. Participate in an individualized training/orientation program geared to providing nursing care in ambulatory setting.

Requirements

  • New York State RN license and BSN
  • 2 years recent experience with Hematology Oncology patients desirable.
  • 1.5 years of oncology experience in cellular therapy/bone marrow transplant/liquid tumor highly preferred
  • BCLS

Nice To Haves

  • BMT National certification strongly preferred
  • Ambulatory care experience preferred
