About The Position

A registered professional nurse who under the general direction of the Department Director/Nurse Manager is responsible for the day to day operation of the department. The role has four primary functions: 1) operational management of the patient care process; 2) team building; 3) clinical and customer service role modeling; and 4) administration management development/support.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont is required.

• Minimum of three or more years of progressive clinical experience.
• Demonstrated understanding of unit operations and motivational techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in an interdisciplinary environment.
• Commitment to own career development.
• Demonstrated ability to function as a member of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal/behavioral skills.
• Customer service orientation, to include skills in problem solving.

Nice To Haves
