About The Position

As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator Emergency Room RN at Centre Pointe Emergency, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact in patient care. You will ensure and deliver high quality, patient-centered care and coordinate all functions in the unit during your designated shift. Collaborating with the management team, you will direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures, serving as a resource for staff and modeling a commitment to the organization's vision and values.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred.
  • < 1 year applicable experience.
  • Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
  • Participates in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit.
  • Collaborates with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
  • Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
  • Supports the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies.
  • Provides recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff.
  • Assists with staff scheduling and manages all practical aspects of staff labor.
  • Supports proper inventory control and assists with managing supplies and equipment.
