About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an experienced Med-Surg Registered Nurse ready to step into a leadership role within a fast-paced, Level I Trauma environment. The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) plays a critical role in overseeing unit operations during the night shift, ensuring high-quality patient care, efficient workflow, and strong team support.

Requirements

Strong recent acute care Med-Surg RN experience required
Minimum 2 years of recent Med-Surg RN experience required (recent experience must be current)
Graduate of an accredited nursing program required
Active RN license (state or compact)
BLS & ACLS required (must be obtained within 30 days of hire)

Nice To Haves

Prior Charge Nurse experience preferred
BSN preferred

Responsibilities

Oversee patient flow, including admissions, discharges, and transfers to maintain efficient unit operations
Act as a clinical resource, support staff development, assist with training, and contribute to performance management
Ensure adherence to clinical standards, hospital policies, and quality improvement initiatives
Assist with staffing, scheduling, productivity management, and supply oversight
Promote a patient-centered approach and manage service recovery when needed
