About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to provide frontline clinical leadership for a high-acuity Ortho / Neuro / Trauma Med-Surg unit . This role combines hands-on patient care with charge-level coordination to ensure exceptional patient outcomes, operational efficiency, and staff support during night shifts.

Requirements

• Current acute-care Med-Surg RN experience (Required)
• Minimum 2 years of recent bedside Med-Surg RN experience (must be current)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Missouri or Compact)
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• BLS (AHA) – required within 30 days of hire
• ACLS – required within 30 days of hire
• Demonstrated ability to manage high patient volume and acuity
• Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills

Nice To Haves

• Charge RN experience in acute Med-Surg
• BSN preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care during assigned shifts
• Support admissions, discharges, and throughput to ensure safe and efficient transitions
• Serve as a clinical resource and escalation point for bedside nursing staff
• Monitor and evaluate nursing care delivery in alignment with quality and safety standards
• Promote a patient-first culture and support service recovery when needed
• Assist with staffing adjustments based on census and acuity
• Support staff development, coaching, and onboarding
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve clinical outcomes and engagement
• Oversee supply utilization and equipment management
