About The Position

Phoenix Children's has an immediate need for experienced (at least 1yr) full time and part time NIGHT shift clinical nurses who have a passion for working with the kids in our psych unit. We are looking for experienced bio-behavioral clinical nurses, who have worked with pediatric and adolescent populations. Incumbent will be facilitating group therapy; individual therapy, managing the day to day activities of the patients. If you are a bio-behavioral/Psych RN with at least 1 year experience who enjoys working with kids, then apply now!!! CPI and PALS certifications MUST be obtained within 60 days of hire, if not already certified. No New grads will be considered This position works in collaboration with the healthcare team, patient and family to promote patient health through delivery of professional nursing care appropriate to patients age and condition as documented in the nursing and medical plans of care in accordance with evidence-based nursing and patient care practice standards and hospital goals, values and regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year experience
  • Experienced bio-behavioral clinical nurses, who have worked with pediatric and adolescent populations
  • Two year (ADN) degree in nursing, a four year degree (BSN) in nursing, or a Diploma Nursing degree. (Required)
  • Current State of Arizona RN license or an RN license from a compact state with multistate privileges or the ability to establish licensure according to Arizona law prior to start date. (Required)
  • Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association prior to start date. (Required)
  • CPI and PALS certifications MUST be obtained within 60 days of hire, if not already certified

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or currently enrolled in an RN to BSN program
