About The Position

BayCare Medical Group and St. Anthony's Hospital, in beautiful St. Petersburg, FL is seeking a Clinical Neuropsychologist to join our small outpatient Neuropsychology Department. On the campus of St. Anthony’s Hospital is a large multi-specialty physician clinic along with multiple primary care physicians, specialists and ancillary services. The neuropsychology department shares space on this campus with the Memory Disorder Center and upstairs from our team of neurologists. The ideal candidate will conduct outpatient neuropsychological evaluations using a flexible battery approach of adult populations including epilepsy, head injury, mild cognitive impairment, dementia, and other diagnoses. Referrals are accepted from a wide range of medical providers seeking information on brain function and cognition. Evaluation will include integration of information from health records, patient and collateral interviews, test results and professional literature. The neuropsychologist will produce an evaluation report with recommendations to assist providers in diagnosis and management of neurocognitive dysfunction and will appropriately document findings in the health system Electronic Medical Record (EMR). The neuropsychologist will participate in Neuroscience program activities including conferences, workshops and possibly research. Experience in neuropsychological and general psychological testing as well as working in an outpatient care medical setting with a general medical population is required

Requirements

  • PhD or PsyD (doctorate) in clinical or counseling psychology.
  • Two year post-doctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology
  • Active Florida license as a psychologist
  • 0-1 year of clinical experience after completion of fellowship
  • diplomate status or eligibility to sit for Clinical Neuropsychology specialty of the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP-CN).
