About The Position

The Division of Neurocognitive Disorders, within the Department of Psychiatry and Psychology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, is recruiting an adult clinical neuropsychologist with interest and expertise in leading a Multicultural/Multilingual practice. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of functional neuroanatomy and diagnostic procedures as they relate to neurodegenerative and other neurologic conditions. The neuropsychologist will provide clinical services for patients referred to the neuropsychology clinic for assessment of cognition related to neurologic and psychiatric conditions, including some that are rare and complex, with the assistance of bilingual psychometrists as well as highly trained interpreters through the Department of Language Services. The successful neuropsychology candidate will join a warm and supportive division comprised of 16 board-certified neuropsychologists and 2 board-certified rehabilitation psychologists. The candidate will benefit from generous administrative and technical support for his or her practice. As an academic institution, active engagement in research and education is expected, with resources available for program development and scholarly pursuits. Faculty appointment will be commensurate with experience. Competitive early career applicants and recent fellowship graduates will also be considered.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of functional neuroanatomy and diagnostic procedures related to neurodegenerative and neurologic conditions.
  • Bilingual or multilingual proficiency.
  • Expertise in program development.
