About The Position

Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania invites applications for temporary faculty positions (full-time one semester, part-time one semester or part-time academic year) as needs arise in the Department of Counseling and Educational Leadership for the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program. The 100% Online Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program enables students to become license-eligible for the counseling profession in many states throughout the program. The program’s primary goal is to prepare students to function independently and successfully as a clinical mental health counselor in a variety of professional settings. Requirements

• qualified to teach graduate level courses and/or supervise students in field or internship experiences

Responsibilities

• plan and deliver instruction through multiple modes of instruction including: asynchronous (e.g., Brightspace) and synchronous (e.g., Zoom)
• hold office hours
• engage with departmental faculty
• attend program and department meetings
• complete scholarly activities related to the position
• engage in service activities (e.g., interviewing graduate student applicants)
