About The Position

The Clinical Managing Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (CM BCBA) will provide support to individuals and their families by coordinating and providing services in Applied Behavior Analysis. The CM BCBA will oversee programming of ABA therapists and provide ongoing support and supervision as it relates to the implementation and documentation with treatment plans. They will also manage their assigned center and any clinical staff within, and lead graduate cohort programs.

Requirements

  • High competence in instructional skills, oral and written communication, organizational skills and interpersonal relations.
  • Knowledge of Word, Excel, Central Reach, Outlook systems and any relevant systems for maintaining and renewing credentialing and certification.
  • Required: Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or Related Field
  • Required: Board-Certified Behavior Analyst Certification by the BACB
  • Required: Experience with Autism and Related Disorders
  • Required: 2+ year of experience as a BCBA

  • Preferred: Experience in designing and executing training related to ABA.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as lead clinician for assigned center and manages all related operations pertaining to their center’s technician and client needs.
  • Conduct functional assessments and behavior assessments using the VB-MAPP, ABLLS or AFLS.
  • Maintain caseload of clients and write individual treatment plans for each child assessed.
  • Ensure that all treatment plans and programs comply with contract requirements, satisfy all relevant insurance certification and other expectations.
  • Manage and update client program books.
  • Supervise and train assigned Behavior Consultants and BCBAs managing client caseloads.
  • Supervise and train the Lead RBT(s) in your center.
  • Execute and update monthly behavior technician onboarding trainings.
  • Design and provide specific quarterly training to clinicians.
  • Manage behavior technician graduate cohorts.
  • Remain compliant with all required trainings and certifications.
  • Communicate and coordinate with admin, autism case coordinators, and any supervisory staff.
  • Participate for Individual Education Program (IEP) team meetings for clients as appropriate.
  • Assist in the development, facilitation, and follow-up training in Applied Behavior Analysis.
  • Provide teaching and direct instruction to ABA therapists.
  • Provide ongoing support and training to families and other individuals in supporting roles.
  • Review and sign off on treatment plan training when necessary.
  • Participate in professional growth activities such as conferences, classes, and team meetings.
  • Maintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA laws.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
