About The Position

Recovery Unplugged owns and operates multiple substance abuse treatment centers across the United States, with its headquarters located in Fort Lauderdale, FL. We are currently seeking a Clinical Manager to support our Fort Lauderdale location, specifically for our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). The Clinical Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of client care, ensuring that our treatment services meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. This position reports directly to the Clinical Director in Florida. The Clinical Manager will be responsible for managing a team of clinical staff, providing supervision and support to ensure effective treatment delivery. This includes determining staff qualifications and competencies, recruiting, selecting, hiring, training, orienting, mentoring, and rewarding team members. The Clinical Manager will also be involved in evaluating staff performance, conducting interviews for new hires, and making recommendations for disciplinary actions or terminations as necessary. In addition to staff management, the Clinical Manager will oversee the continuum of care from admission through discharge placement. This involves interviewing clients, reviewing their records, and conferring with other professionals to evaluate their conditions. The Clinical Manager will ensure that clinical records contain comprehensive information needed for the authorization of treatment and will regularly review caseloads to ensure appropriate utilization of services. Compliance with all Department of Children and Families (DCF) and Joint Commission standards is essential, as is maintaining strict client confidentiality in accordance with relevant laws. The Clinical Manager will also hold daily meetings with clinical staff, provide clinical services to clients as needed, and maintain appropriate boundaries and ethical behavior at all times with clients, families, coworkers, and other professionals. This role requires a strong ability to work as a team member, along with excellent management, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. The ability to work under stressful conditions and be flexible in relation to department needs is also crucial.
