About The Position

Blue Ridge Health is currently seeking a Clinical Manager to be a part of our Behavioral Health - Specialized Services team. The Specialized Services Clinical Manager serves to support the Clinical Director in setting standards of care across designated behavioral health services. Provides trauma-informed, recovery-oriented clinical leadership. Responsibilities include:

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree or Doctorate Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling
  • Valid North Carolina clinical license (Licensed Psychologist (Doctorate Level), Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist)
  • Eight years of clinical experience and five years of supervisory experience
  • Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) Required
  • Knowledge of diverse modalities of counseling and diagnostic principles
  • Demonstrated belief in a recovery focused, trauma informed, strengths-based approach to treatment and whole person and family care.
  • Ability to build strong teams, demonstrate vulnerability, and remain in connection and support of staff

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of three years of clinical supervision experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining adequate familiarity with organizational Policies and Procedures and monitoring compliance within specialized service.
  • Working closely with the MCO, DHHS and the ACTT Coalition to engage in standardized fidelity monitoring,
  • Facilitating staff understanding of applicable service definitions as well as essential elements of the service’s program design, in order to promote consistent clinical care.
  • Developing and monitoring any standards of care, above and beyond the service definition, that are established for the service and communicated to staff, particularly those related to access to the service (i.e. wait lists) and periods of increased risk for a service recipient.
  • Effectively communicating performance expectations to teams and leaders and providing routine and as-needed coaching on practice management skills.
  • Provide direct service (individual, group, family, assessment, crisis assessment) as needed and clinical supervision and ensure adequate coverage for services and programs.
  • Participating in internal audit activities. Monitor reports and performance indicators for programs such as direct service time, adherence to service definition, state and agency policy.
