About The Position

The Clinical Supervisor – Clinical Manager is responsible for overseeing clinical staff and services to ensure high-quality mental health treatment that promotes client independence and family empowerment. This role provides leadership in delivering individual and group counseling services while ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations. The position also supports program development, staff supervision, and overall clinical effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field, or Ph.D./Psy.D. in Psychology from an accredited institution
  • Licensed as LCSW, MFT, or Clinical Psychologist eligible for independent practice (minimum two years preferred)
  • Minimum five years of experience in mental health care (inpatient/outpatient) with at least two years post-licensure
  • Direct clinical, case management, and group leadership experience
  • Knowledge of rehabilitation philosophy and behavioral health practices
  • Valid California driver’s license and active auto insurance
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate computer proficiency
  • Familiarity with Short Doyle preferred and First Aid Certification may be required
  • MAB Training preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of clinical services across one or multiple programs
  • Consult regularly with leadership regarding program performance and operational needs
  • Facilitate staff meetings and provide treatment team leadership
  • Provide direct client care including individual, family, and group therapy, discharge planning, and coordination with referral sources
  • Coordinate with external clinicians, medical director, and nursing staff regarding treatment planning and medication evaluations
  • Complete and submit required reports, including Quality Assurance documentation
  • Conduct utilization reviews and maintain accurate client documentation
  • Collaborate with Program Director to develop clinical programming and service delivery
  • Audit client charts to ensure compliance with documentation standards
  • Provide consultation and education to community organizations and service providers
  • Support staff in managing complex cases and psychiatric emergencies
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, ethical standards, and professional boundaries
  • Monitor and participate in departmental budget development and adherence
  • Perform administrative duties aligned with program needs
  • Participate in staff meetings and program planning sessions
  • Transport clients as needed to support community integration (use of personal vehicle required)
  • Provide BBS supervision hours to clinical staff as applicable
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
  • Provide the highest level of customer care
