About The Position

InHome Therapy is seeking a Clinical Manager for our Illinois market. Our community of therapists deliver exceptional care in the home, making our patients more mobile and happier. The Clinical Manager is a licensed clinician who is willing to support, mentor, develop, and provide direct supervision to clinical leads and clinicians serving patients within the Clinical Manager's primary market(s). Ensuring therapists are prepared to meet IHT standards of quality care to improve patient outcomes is an essential aspect of the role. The Clinical Manager reports to the Clinical Director. The Clinical Manager is ultimately responsible for ensuring that Clinical Leads and Clinical staff remain in compliance with IHT clinical quality standards. Requirements

  • Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist, Physical Therapist Assistant, Occupational Therapist, Occupational Therapy Assistant, or Speech Language Pathologist
  • Doctorate, Masters, or Bachelor's degree of Physical, Occupational, or Speech Therapy from an accredited program. Associate or Bachelor's degree as a physical therapist assistant or occupational therapy assistant
  • 2 years of clinical experience and 1 year of supervisory/management experience in a home health or related health care organization
  • Must be able to manage technology of multiple EMR's, Microsoft Suite and other requirements.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

  • Prefers membership of national professional association (APTA, AOTA, or ASHA)

Responsibilities

  • In conjunction with the Clinical Lead serves as a consistent resource for company and region-specific onboarding through first 90-days for the assigned therapist and available ongoing to tenured therapists
  • Ensures or assists in Competency Assessments for new hires and annual assessments in collaboration with the Clinical Lead and Clinical Director
  • Supports Clinical Lead in performance management protocols for clinical staff
  • Responsible for performance management of Clinical Leads and clinical staff
  • Fulfills responsibilities of a treating clinician as defined in the job description for the license held as per local market needs
  • Support agency visits/calls, case conference, or other initiatives that support the needs of therapists and market
  • Assist Clinical Lead in performing Clinical Interviews within Market
  • In the absence of the Clinical Director, works as part of the dyad with the Regional Director of Operations to ensure proper hiring, staffing, and clinician readiness for patient care
  • Keep current with all changes or updates in federal, state, and local regulations or procedures, and updates the clinical team on relevant changes
  • Interfaces with Clinical Director or Clinical Lead to resolve any clinical issues when needed
