About The Position

Our client is a long-standing, mission-driven residential recovery program serving women and their children. They provide compassionate, trauma-informed, and recovery-oriented services in a supportive, faith-based environment. They are seeking a Clinical Manager to join their leadership team. This role is ideal for an experienced clinician who brings strong clinical judgment, a collaborative leadership style, and a passion for supporting both clients and staff. The Clinical Manager is responsible for overseeing all clinical functions and ensuring high-quality, evidence-based services across the program. This role provides clinical leadership, supervision, and guidance to licensed and unlicensed staff while supporting program compliance, outcomes, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field required; Master’s degree strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a health or human services setting, including direct work with individuals with substance use disorders.
  • Strong knowledge of substance uses disorder treatment, co-occurring mental health conditions, and trauma-informed, recovery-oriented care.
  • Working knowledge of applicable regulations and standards, including DDAP, HIPAA, and 42 CFR Part 2.
  • Experience with clinical documentation and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
  • Ability to manage high-risk situations, including crisis intervention, safety planning, and mandated reporting.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills with a commitment to ethical and compassionate practice.
  • All candidates must be willing to adhere to the Substance Abuse/Drug Free Workplace policy including pre-employment screening.
  • Ability to acquire Act 33/34 & FBI clearances (employer reimbursed - after contingent job offer).
  • Must obtain annual TB (PPD) testing (employer reimbursed - after hire).

Nice To Haves

  • Prior clinical supervision and staff leadership (LSW, LCSW, LPC) experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and supervision to clinical staff, ensuring trauma-informed, evidence-based, and recovery-oriented treatment services.
  • Conduct regular individual and group clinical supervision, including review of documentation, treatment planning, and risk assessment.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards (including DDAP, county, state, and funding-source requirements).
  • Oversee the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of clinical documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Collaborate with program leadership, medical providers, and interdisciplinary team members to support integrated, client-centered care.
  • Support staff in managing high-risk situations, including crisis intervention, safety planning, and mandated reporting.
  • Participate in staff onboarding, training, mentoring, and professional development.
  • Contribute to quality assurance and performance improvement efforts, including chart audits, incident reviews, and program evaluations.
  • Assist with program development and enhancement, including implementation of new initiatives and best practices.
  • Serve as a clinical resource to leadership, providing consultation and data-informed recommendations.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, compassion, and ethical practice.
  • Maintain open communication with leadership and staff through meetings, one-on-ones, and trainings.
