Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody these values to join our Wound Management leadership team in the role of Clinical Manager. IU Health boasts one of the largest wound centers in the country with a high level of excellence and evidence-based care. This position is fully onsite Monday-Friday approximate hours 8AM-5PM with occasional need to come in early or stay late. Ideal candidates must have wound or ostomy experience, preference to individuals with previous leadership experience. If candidates do not already possess HBO (hyperbaric oxygen therapy) certification, should be willing to obtain within one year of employment. The clinical manager combines clinical experience and contemporary leadership practices with the IU Health Way to achieve excellent outcomes. Accountable for translating and achieving our strategic priorities and outcomes: quality and safety improvements, care affordability, great patient experiences, and great team member experiences. Accountable for providing strategic vision and operational planning for assigned unit. Incumbents will lead an inter-professional team to create an environment where the team is empowered to achieve excellence in patient and organizational outcomes. This role is accountable for advancing nursing practice by advocating and consistently embedding evidenced-base practices and professional nursing standards. Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor of Nursing (BSN).
  • If bachelor degree not in nursing, must have Master of Nursing (MSN).
  • Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
  • Required Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
  • Specialty certification related to nursing practice or leadership is preferred.
  • Ideal candidates must have wound or ostomy experience, preference to individuals with previous leadership experience.
  • If candidates do not already possess HBO (hyperbaric oxygen therapy) certification, should be willing to obtain within one year of employment.
  • Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
