About The Position

The Clinical Manager oversees daily unit operations and staff supervision within Ambulatory Care Services, including the Grady Walk-In Center. This role involves facilitating efficient patient flow and acting as the primary contact for issues related to the centers. The Clinical Manager is responsible for supplementing staffing as needed and managing patient overflow from the Emergency Care Center (ECC) and other community-based facilities. Additionally, the Clinical Manager carries out special projects directed by the Administrative Director and provides administrative coverage for Ambulatory Care Services as required. This position also involves maintaining records of current licensure and certification of staff as mandated by regulatory agencies and professional standards. The Clinical Manager participates in the development, resource allocation, administration, and analysis of the Ambulatory Care Services capital, personnel, and operating budget. Collaboration with the Medical Director, Administrative Director, and Senior Clinical Manager is essential to ensure that key performance indicators are monitored and that quality care and patient satisfaction are consistently achieved.

Requirements

  • Current Georgia License as a Registered Professional Nurse
  • Bachelor Degree in Nursing Required
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing leadership experience
