About The Position

Clinical Manager, Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical/Surgical (Exempt) Full-Time | 0.8 FTE (64 hours/pp) | Days $10,000 Sign-on Bonus Available Based on meeting eligibility requirements. More about our team 54 bed acute Medical and Surgical unit (3 wings with 18 beds each). We have good support from care aides to assist in patient care. Wide variety of patient conditions and interventions to hone skills and grow professionally. It’s a fast-paced unit with admissions and discharges always happening throughout the shift.

Requirements

State of Michigan RN license
Associate degree from an accredited nursing school
Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP)
Two (2) years nursing experience

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree
Severn (7) years managerial experience

Responsibilities

Assists with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management.
Performs and oversees scheduling, staff development, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.
Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations.
Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversee proper working order and/or stock supplies.
Assesses the quality of patient care delivered and coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments.
May provide patient care when necessary.
Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
