About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Clinical Manager to lead our busy Family Medicine practice in Portland, as well as our smaller satellite clinic on Peaks Island. This key leadership role is ideal for a proactive, collaborative professional who is passionate about patient-centered care, team development, and operational excellence. The Clinical Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day clinical operations, optimizing workflows, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving quality outcomes. This role also plays a vital part in mentoring staff and residents, fostering a culture of continuous learning, growth, and teamwork. This Clinical Manager will lead RN, LPN, MA and CTA Team Members and will be based in our Portland office, with occasional travel to the Peaks Island Clinic. This role is normally scheduled Monday - Friday, with no weekend/major holidays. Summary: The Manager - Clinical Ambulatory Care is responsible for supervising and overseeing all operational aspects of the clinical department, including clinical services and staffing needs. The Clinical Manager is responsible for coordinating the clinical work flow in order to provide the most efficient, effective, safe and comprehensive patient care. The Clinical Manager will work with physicians, midlevel providers and clinical staff to increase the volume of clinical outpatient services, referral process, patient flow, and maximize the productivity of each practice location.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited college with a bachelor's degree in nursing required.
  • Current State of Maine RN license required.
  • Current BLS Certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
  • Five years of experience in the nursing field required.
