The Clinical Manager is a Registered Nurse (RN) who has graduated from an accredited school of nursing and is currently licensed to practice in TX. The Clinical Manager supervises home health services to homebound patients in their place of residence in accordance with attending physician orders and plans of care and strives to provide the highest quality of care. All skilled nursing and other therapeutic services are under the supervision and direction of the Clinical Manager. Requirements

  • Someone who can begin as a consultant and can convert to full time as the company grows
  • A graduate of an approved school of professional nursing who is currently licensed as a registered nurse in the TX
  • Two (2) years experience as a RN with two (2) years of home health experience and 1 of those years in a supervisory capacity and maintain CPR certification while employed in a clinical role.
  • One year of experience supervising clinicians in a Home Health Agency environment and experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
  • Access to reliable transportation.
  • In-depth understanding of Medicare Conditions of Participation and payment mechanisms for home health.
  • Strong organizational, planning, problem solving, decision-making and leadership skills

Responsibilities

  • You will help develop the company's clinical and administrative policies
  • Assist with getting the Texas State license and Medicare certification, making sure we're compliant with all the rules.
  • Act as backup for the Company’s administrator
  • Provide direct clinical supervision of all assigned staff.
  • Participate in hiring, evaluating, and terminating Agency personnel as required
  • Keep clinical records in line with state/federal laws, including Medicare, CHAP, and Joint Commission standards.
  • Figuring out who qualifies as a new client and making sure they're eligible for home health benefits through third parties.
  • Ensure and perform in-home supervisory visits with assigned team members as appropriate.
  • Performs other related duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary.
  • Monitor staff assignments, caseloads, and team productivity.
  • Promote efficient utilization of resources.
