About The Position

The Clinical Manager - OR is responsible for the administrative and operational management of assigned departments. This includes overseeing cost and finance, human resources, operations, quality of care, clinical outcomes, and ensuring patient, physician, and staff satisfaction. The role involves change management and other relevant responsibilities. The Clinical Manager serves as part of the entity management team and Shared Governance Model, promoting the mission, vision, and values of PHC and Nursing Professional Practice. The position embraces a person-centered philosophy while enhancing value-driven outcomes and promoting patient-family centered services across the continuum. Additionally, the Clinical Manager is responsible for succession planning, identifying talent, and providing support, education, and resources to develop future nursing leaders. The role may also require assisting in staffing to provide clinical care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a nursing program.
  • Three (3) years of nursing experience in a hospital (inpatient roles) or clinical (outpatient roles) setting.
  • At least one (1) year of relevant leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated clinical competency in the specialty area applying for.
  • Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Advanced certification in field of specialty (if required).
  • BLS certification required.
