Requirements

• B.S. degree in Nursing.
• Minimum of five (5) years nursing experience.
• At least two (2) years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
• Good written and oral communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in Nursing.
• Two (2) years clinical experience in labor and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the daily operations of the Labor & Delivery unit.
• Capable of independent judgement and decision making in the areas of budget, personnel, patient services and administrative or professional programs.
• Effectively manages all resources assigned to cost centers.
• Collaborates with the Operations Manager of Family Centered Care to accomplish departmental objectives.
• Has twenty four (24) hour accountability for assigned area.
• Operational management.
