About The Position

The Clinical Manager has 24/7 operational responsibility for a minimum of one large highly complex/strategic level department, or a minimum of three (3) nursing departments, or a minimum of two (2) nursing department plus responsibility for ongoing hospital-wide program(s) that support global strategic goals. Includes accountability for the quality of patient care, the performance of the nursing staff, assisting in the development and management of the budget, and the orientation, education and development of the staff. Typically supervises more than 100 FTEs.

Requirements

• Require a minimum of five (5) years of clinical nursing experience with three (3) of the years in a supervisory/managerial role.
• Require a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree. Must obtain a Master's degree in Nursing (MSN), Health Administration (MHA), Business Administration (MBA) or related field within three (3) years of hire/transfer date.
• Require nursing specialty certification.
• Require nursing leadership certification within one (1) years of hire/transfer date.
• BLS: Basic Life Support/CPR
• FL RN: FL Registered Nurse License
