SUMMARY: The Clinical Manager, reporting to the department director, is responsible for translating and supporting the goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the Nursing Department into action within the framework of the Hospital’s and Brown University Health’s mission and vision statements. Maintains the standards of nursing practice through the delivery of primary nursing and case management on one or more designated patient care units. Has the delegated authority to make decisions in the areas of patient care delivery, human resource management and budgetary development and compliance. All essential functions performed in this position reflect the age specific needs of the patients.
