Requirements

  • Highly Organized: Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills for managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey information clearly and concisely.
  • Proactive & Resourceful: A self-starter who can anticipate needs, troubleshoot issues, and find solutions efficiently.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, scheduling software, and standard office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Medical Terminology: Basic understanding of medical terminology, procedures, and healthcare practices.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent; further education or certification in medical administration preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support: Manage schedules, coordinate meetings, and handle correspondence for the clinical leadership team.
  • Workflow Optimization: Assist in streamlining clinical workflows, preparing necessary documentation, and maintaining up-to-date patient records and files.
  • Communication & Coordination: Facilitate effective communication between clinical staff, management, and other departments, helping to resolve issues and ensure timely information flow.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Help maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to all HIPAA regulations and internal policies.
  • Clinical Resource Management: Assist with managing clinical supplies, equipment, and resources to ensure the team has what it needs.
  • Special Projects: Support clinical initiatives and projects as assigned, including data gathering, analysis, and report generation.
