You will make an impact by: Overseeing, supervising, and managing faculty and students assigned to clinical sites, makes phone or on-site visits, mediates conflicts, establishes specific learning objectives, records attendance and supervises clinical affiliations to ensure that the expertise is adequate and achieves a satisfactory level of performance. Providing professional leadership and support for clinical teaching faculty; serves as a mentor and facilitator for faculty assigned; and enables an environment which fosters creativity, responsiveness, and self-responsibility. Ensuring students are current on vaccinations, assigns clinical sites and records attendance. Coordinates and assigns students to clinical sites for the Surgical Technology program. Maintaining records and ensures compliance with the college and Surgical Technology program policies and procedures. Participating in school activities such as student functions, graduation exercises, open houses, new student orientations, and advisory board meetings.
