About The Position

The Admissions Liaison is responsible for conducting a comprehensive assessment of patients referred for inpatient acute rehabilitation services, coordinating the gathering of patient information to present in a timely manner to the Medical Director for review, and communicating quickly and effectively with all referral sources at every stage of the referral process.

Requirements

• 2 years of clinical experience, to include direct patient in a rehabilitation setting
• Bachelor's degree, or greater, as required by licensure
• Licensed PT, RN, OT or SLP
• AHA BLS

Responsibilities

• responding to and carrying out pre-admission screenings for patients referred to the rehab program that result in a timely decision as to whether or not the patient is an appropriate candidate for the inpatient rehab program
• developing, implementing, and adhering to best practice patient attraction strategies as a means to promote the features and benefits of the rehab program to patients, families. and the community.
