The Clinical Liaison is a key operational support role within the Admissions Department, reporting directly to the Admissions Director. This position supports admissions coordination and serves as the primary screener within the department. The clinical liaison also supports patient and family engagement, insurance and financial processes, and care transitions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required.
Strong communication, organizational and time-management skills.
Proficiency with healthcare documentation and electronic systems.

Nice To Haves

Degree in healthcare administration, nursing, a related field preferred.
Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, hospital, or assisted living settings preferred.

Responsibilities

Support the Admissions Director as the primary screener while assisting with intake coordination, and admissions workflow.
Assist with collection and review of clinical, financial, and insurance information related to potential admissions.
Support insurance verification, authorizations, and follow-up for managed care and private pay admissions.
Complete and support admission documentation, sign-ins, and onboarding processes.
Address and coordinate resolution of admission-related concerns in collaboration with interdisciplinary team members.
Assist with tours (rehab and long-term care) when needed.
