About The Position

As a Nursing Supervisor, your strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational and multitasking skills and demonstrated ability to guide and lead staff makes you a valuable asset to the unit. STATUS: Full-Time LOCATION: Edna Tina Wilson Living Center DEPARTMENT: ETW Victorian Nursing SCHEDULE: M-F, 7am-3:30pm ATTRIBUTES One (1) year of nursing experience required, Post-Acute nursing experience preferred One (1) year of supervisory experience preferred Exceptional documentation, communication and interpersonal skills RESPONSIBILITIES Unit Management. Oversee and assure short-and long-term Nursing Department staff schedules; serve as a clinical resource to staff in problem solving, assessment and special procedures; coordinate with the Nursing Staff resident units and admissions department in the rapid admission of residents Supervision Oversees the dining areas, interacting with residents, families and staff in providing a safe, pleasant mealtime and assure appropriate completion of required records Patient Care. Facilitate units in emergency medical assessment and care of residents, including interventions, transportation and other resources as needed EDUCATION: LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA)American Heart Association (AHA), RN - Registered Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED)New York State Education Department (NYSED) PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting. For disease specific care programs refer to the program specific requirements of the department for further specifications on experience and educational expectations, including continuing education requirements. PAY RANGE: $42.18 - $55.43 CITY: Rochester POSTAL CODE: 14612 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Requirements

  • One (1) year of nursing experience required
