This Opportunity As the Clinical Director on the Partner Solutions team, you will serve as a clinical subject matter expert (SME) in solution scoping and design, and lead all projects involving custom machine learning (ML) solutions using unstructured clinical data. You will act as a critical bridge between external partners (health systems, life sciences organizations, and research institutions) and internal teams across machine learning, data science, and clinical domains. Success in this role requires integrating clinical expertise with technical and business frameworks to design impactful, scalable solutions—serving as the clinical leader in shaping how we translate complex healthcare problems into actionable data products.

Requirements

  • Clinical degree with 5+ years of experience working with real-world clinical data (e.g., EHR systems, clinical documentation, annotation) in research or industry settings
  • Experience thriving in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven track record of leading interdisciplinary projects end-to-end, coordinating across clinical, technical, and client stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences and translate between clinical and technical requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including interpreting clinical documentation, defining annotation/feature needs, and assessing feasibility of unstructured data
  • Experience with unstructured clinical data (e.g., free-text notes, imaging/procedure reports) or clinical concept extraction
  • Familiarity with clinical ontologies and terminologies (e.g., ICD, SNOMED, LOINC, UMLS) is highly desirable

Nice To Haves

  • Preference for those with a MD or DO
  • Preference with those with experience of hands-on experience with Python, SQL, or R for working with real-world evidence (RWE) data

Responsibilities

  • Support client engagements as a clinical SME, translating between business, technical, and clinical perspectives
  • Help define and shape solution approaches that leverage unstructured clinical data
  • Serve as the clinical lead and primary liaison for engagements involving unstructured clinical data
  • Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to define use cases, requirements, success criteria, and data/feature expectations
  • Conduct feasibility assessments for unstructured data aligned with client objectives
  • Act as a client-facing spokesperson: lead meetings, deliver capability demos, and present project updates and results
  • Ensure client success through tailored enablement materials and guidance on leveraging unstructured data
