About The Position

The Clinical Lead provides daily clinical oversight, leadership, and operational support to ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care. In the Pain Management procedural area, the Clinical Lead oversees workflow, staffing, patient flow, and adherence to safety and quality standards. This role serves as the primary resource for procedural guidance, real‑time decision‑making, and coordination between nursing staff, providers, and ancillary teams. The Clinical Lead promotes a welcoming and professional environment, supports customer service excellence, and models Holy Cross Hospital’s Mission and Core Values. Responsibilities include maintaining accountability for quality outcomes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, supporting team communication, and upholding high standards of work ethics, patient confidentiality, and clinical competency. Purpose : The Clinical Lead provides day‑to-day clinical oversight, leadership, and customer service to ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care. The Clinical Lead oversees workflow, supports staff development, upholds regulatory standards, and ensures operational excellence—particularly within the Pain Management procedural area.

Responsibilities

  • Pain Management Procedural Area – Lead Nurse Oversight Provides onsite leadership and continuous oversight of Pain Management procedure rooms.
  • Coordinates daily procedural workflow, ensuring timely room turnover, patient preparation, and provider support.
  • Serves as the primary resource for clinical questions, procedural troubleshooting, and real‑time decision‑making.
  • Ensures adherence to safety protocols, sterile techniques, and regulatory standards within the procedural area.
  • Supports efficient patient flow, scheduling coordination, and mitigation of delays.
  • Oversees staff performance, provides coaching and guidance, and ensures proper skill utilization in the procedure suite.
  • Facilitates timely escalation of clinical or operational issues to physicians, management, or support teams.
  • Ensures appropriate staffing, assignment clarity, and readiness of equipment and supplies.
  • Promotes a culture of collaboration between nursing staff, providers, and ancillary teams to ensure high‑quality, patient‑centered care.
  • Customer Service Creates a welcoming, respectful environment for patients, families, visitors, and associates.
  • Maintains professionalism and composure during challenging situations.
  • Assists customers proactively and practices effective service recovery.
  • Adheres to dress code and maintains a clean, safe environment.
