About The Position

The Clinical Lead position at Trinity Health involves overseeing daily operations within a medical office setting, ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance with regulations. Requirements

  • Minimum Associate's Degree; or an equivalent combination of education and experience relevant to the specified level of the position.
  • Preferred Bachelor's Degree in related field.
  • Valid State of Michigan Practical Nurse License or Registered Nursing License or other credentials appropriate to specified position; CPR or BCLS Certified.
  • Minimum two years of experience or training in a medical office or similar setting; leadership experience.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Ability to type a minimum of 30 words per minute.
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to comfortably interact with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment with a strong customer-service orientation.
  • Ability to handle patient and organizational information in a confidential manner.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle high volume and remain organized and composed.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment that embraces trust.
  • Ability to challenge established methods in a constructive manner to lead team members through a lean approach to rethink work processes.
  • Familiarity with standard desktop and windows based computer system, including email, e-learning, intranet and computer navigation.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates daily operations of assigned unit.
  • May routinely perform day-to-day staff level duties.
  • Oversees clinical office functions, including daily quality control functions.
  • Communicates and collaborates with staff and customers to facilitate excellent patient care and service delivery.
  • Serves as a resource to patients, staff and providers in the Manager/Practice Leader's absence.
  • Ensures compliance with appropriate federal and state regulations.
  • Provides input into the development, implementation, and evaluation of departmental and division goals.
  • Provides input on interviewing, hiring, and training of new staff.
  • Provides input for evaluation process and the development of specific individual performance evaluations, as appropriate, and may assist with implementing action plans.
  • Complies with departmental activities such as monitoring supplies, documents charges/services, etc.
  • Oversees the scheduling and assigns work to personnel within established departmental guidelines.
  • Accountable for his/her own time management and the time management of departmental staff.
  • Assists in developing and implementing education programs for staff and arranging opportunities for professional growth and development.
  • Monitors round tables/task group attendance and ensures implementation of new processes within the office.
  • Oversees acquisition and repair of office operational equipment, makes recommendations for improvements, and ensures that proper maintenance is conducted.
  • Assists with payroll input and corrections as needed.
  • Responsible for continual learning and individual role development.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
