About The Position

Requirements

• Possession of a full license to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist in the State of New York.
• Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Technology or a related health care discipline and eligibility for full licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist in the State of New York.

Responsibilities

• Perform simple and complex laboratory test procedures in the Clinical Laboratories.
• Conduct routine laboratory testing on the overnight shift in Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, and Transfusion Service.
• Handle specimen acceptance, accessioning, and processing.
• Execute performance testing and quality control procedures.
• Utilize various laboratory testing systems and information systems for result generation, reporting, and documentation.
