About The Position
A healthcare laboratory in New York, NY (10029) is seeking a qualified Clinical Laboratory Technologist for a 14-week contract assignment with the intent to convert to a permanent role upon successful completion. This role supports overnight laboratory operations with a focus on Chemistry and Hematology testing .
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory experience
- Strong working knowledge of Chemistry and Hematology
- Valid Clinical Laboratory Technologist license issued by the New York State Education Department (NYSED)
- Associate’s Degree from an accredited institution
Responsibilities
- Perform clinical laboratory testing in Chemistry and Hematology
- Ensure accuracy, quality control, and adherence to laboratory standards
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment
- Document and report test results in accordance with policies and procedures
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements
