About The Position

Perform various hematology and/or chemistry automated, semi-automated and manual procedures as defined by the CP Core Lab procedure manual. Will assume the responsibility as lead technologist of differentials and cell counts. Duties include equipment/method troubleshooting, supply inventory, writing and reviewing procedures, training new staff and students in conjunction with supervisor.

Requirements

• NYS Licensed/eligible to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist
• Master's Degree in chemical, physical, or biological sciences with two years of Clinical Laboratory experience in Hematology and/or Chemistry
• OR NYS Licensed/eligible to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist with a minimum of four years of Clinical Laboratory experience in Hematology and/or Chemistry
• Ability to distinguish colors
