About The Position

The Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) at Dominican Hospital is responsible for performing a variety of technical analyses, verifying results, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of tests. Requirements

• Current California Clinical Laboratory Scientist or Clinical Laboratory Technologist license.
• Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, or biological science from an accredited institution.
• Ability to demonstrate familiarity and understanding of medical terminology, typing, math, and computer skills.
• Requires one (1) year of training post baccalaureate.

Nice To Haves

• Two (2) years working in a laboratory setting; Co-op or internship experience in a laboratory setting or prior acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of technical analyses in the laboratory.
• Verify results and assure quality and accuracy of tests.
• Work under the direction of Laboratory Supervisor(s), Laboratory Manager(s), Laboratory Administrative Director, and Laboratory Medical Director (Pathologist).

Benefits

• Competitive pay range of $68.21 - $79.10 per hour.
