About The Position

Chenega Government Mission Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services’ company, is looking for a Clinical Laboratory Scientist in support of the Lame Deer Health Center Clinic. This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday, work hours will fall between 7:00a.m – 7:00 p.m., excluding federal holidays.

$37.25/hour
$1,246/week per diem

Requirements

• Completion of a medical laboratory technician (MLT) program or equivalent training.
• Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS).
• 1–2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory environment.

Nice To Haves

• Certification as MLT (ASCP or AMT) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and collect blood specimens utilizing arterial puncture, venipuncture or capillary methods.
• Prepare patients for collection of other specimen types such as urine and stool.
• Process and analyze clinical laboratory specimens using various diagnostic laboratory equipment such as analyzers, microscopes, and centrifuges.
• Review, verify and report patient results.
• Perform, update and/or review Quality Control, Calibrations, and Maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned
