About The Position

Requirements

Recent clinical laboratory experience
Clinical Lab Scientist - CA CLS

Nice To Haves

Advanced degree in a related field and experience in an acute care hospital
Basic Life Support (BLS) through an American Heart Association Provider

Responsibilities

Assists management with the maintenance of appropriate policies, procedures and equipment as requested
Conducts orientation and training of new personnel and monitors performance of appropriate personnel in the section of primary responsibility as requested
Assists in the operation and maintenance of automated analyzers and maintains an adequate inventory of departmental supplies
Performs quality control, quality assurance, and performance improvement indicators routinely in the department
Maintains work areas in an appropriate state of orderliness
Monitors performance of the daily workload to ensure efficient departmental operations
