About The Position
The position is for a Clinical Laboratory Scientist at the Bruce W Carter Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Miami, FL. This role involves rotating through various laboratory disciplines, including chemistry, coagulation, hematology, microbiology, mycology, serology, urinalysis, and virology, primarily on the Evening Shift. The Clinical Laboratory Scientist will perform a broad range of laboratory procedures, evaluate and solve problems related to biological specimens, and ensure quality control and assurance activities.
