About The Position

Take the next step in your leadership career by joining our team as a Client Services Supervisor supporting the BURL Outreach Clinical Laboratory in Westwood and Panorama City. In this pivotal role, you'll lead a dedicated team that serves as the critical link between our laboratory and the physicians, patients, and partners who rely on our services. Your leadership will help ensure seamless communication, exceptional service delivery, and operational excellence every single day.Key duties include: Lead and mentor the Client Services team to deliver exceptional service. Oversee daily operations, including managing incoming calls and resolving service issues. Ensure accurate and timely follow-up on requests for information, test results, supply orders, and cancellations. Direct staff in returning consult slides/blocks and distributing clinical reports. Manage accessioning of molecular and cytogenetic cases, including billing information for consults. Monitor and maintain supply inventory, purchasing, and distribution processes. Oversee staffing, scheduling, and performance management to meet budget and productivity goals. Ensure proper use of space, equipment, and facilities, including security and maintenance. Partner with leadership to strengthen operations and client satisfaction. Salary Range: $95,400.00 - $208,300.00/year

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of lead or supervisory experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical laboratory experience.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication, team leadership, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Flexibility to work after-hours as needed.
  • Ability to travel between Westwood and Panorama City locations.
