Clinical Laboratory Assistant
About The Position
We are currently looking for a Clinical Laboratory Assistant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company with a reputation for exceptional service and patient care. POSITIONSUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES Proficiently prepares samples for analytical testing and/or distribution of specimens to the proper analytical area. Accurately registers, receives, processes, and stores biological specimens, such as blood, body fluid and tissue, and accessions them into the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- One year of laboratory experience preferred
- Military Laboratory Training: (Phase I -Air Force or Basic-Army).
Responsibilities
- Proficiently prepares samples for analytical testing
- Distribution of specimens to the proper analytical area
- Accurately registers, receives, processes, and stores biological specimens, such as blood, body fluid and tissue
- Accessions specimens into the Laboratory Information System (LIS)
