The Clinical Lab Analyst is responsible for preparing urine specimens for toxicological analysis using clinical analyzers and LC-MS/MS instrumentation. This role involves following established SOPs for sample preparation, preparing reagents and standards, and creating and submitting analytical batches. The Lab Analyst consults with management for problem resolution, participates in proficiency testing, and ensures compliance with regulatory standards and accreditations. This role requires a strong understanding of laboratory practices, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and consult with senior analysts or lab management when issues arise.
