About The Position

Responsible for performing and reporting results of all diagnostic tests offered by Unity Health Laboratory while participating in QA, IC, Safety QCI, and proficiency testing programs as required by OSHA and CLIA 88. This position requires knowledge in the care of patients served as indicated: Neonate and infant birth up to one year, Childhood and Adolescence is one year to 17 years, Adult is 18 to 65 years and Geriatric is 65 years and above.

Requirements

  • Refer to the Personnel Standards of the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act of 1988 which states least an Associate of Science degree in a Biological, Physical or Chemical Science or a Clinical Laboratory Science program.
  • Refer to the Personnel Standards of the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act of 1988.
  • Qualifies as Testing Personnel under the Personnel Standards of the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act of 1988 under indirect supervision of the Clinical Laboratory Director.
  • Job knowledge commensurate with educational experience.
  • Safety Sensitive: YES
  • Any associate that is actively engaged in the use of medical marijuana, even if in possession of a valid medical marijuana card, will be excluded from employment in a “safety sensitive” position.
