ER at Spanish Springs provides 24/7 emergency care in a convenient setting. As a full-service emergency room, the facility is capable of treating life-threatening injuries as well as less urgent issues. The facility delivers the same high-quality care as our hospital ER. Maintains laboratory records. Follows laboratory policies and procedures; maintains quality control practices in the Laboratory.

Requirements

Nevada State Licensure as a General Supervisor required
BLS certification

Responsibilities

Ability to function independently in all areas of the clinical laboratory: blood bank, chemistry, hematology, microbiology and serology/immunology and phlebotomy.
Responsible for performing high-complexity testing.
Is aware of specific procedures for the neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient.
Demonstrates knowledge of expected lab values for the neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient.
