ER at Spanish Springs provides 24/7 emergency care in a convenient setting. As a full-service emergency room, the facility is capable of treating life-threatening injuries as well as less urgent issues. The facility delivers the same high-quality care as our hospital ER. ER at Damonte Ranch is staffed with a skilled team, including emergency-trained physicians, nurses, and imaging and laboratory staff. The ER is easily accessible and has ample parking, and features a wide range of capabilities and technology. Maintains laboratory records. Follows laboratory policies and procedures; maintains quality control practices in the Laboratory.

Requirements

  • Nevada State Licensure as a General Supervisor required
  • BLS certification

Responsibilities

  • Ability to function independently in all areas of the clinical laboratory: blood bank, chemistry, hematology, microbiology and serology/immunology and phlebotomy.
  • Responsible for performing high-complexity testing.
  • Is aware of specific procedures for the neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of expected lab values for the neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient.
