About The Position
The Clinical Lab Scientist is responsible for performing tasks as delegated by the Director, Manager, Lab Supervisor or POC/Lis Coordinator in any area of the lab deemed necessary, including Point of Care (POC) testing and Lab Information Systems (LIS). Responsibilities may also include performing testing as required in Chemistry or other Clinical Laboratory departments as needed.
Requirements
- Current California CLS License
- BS/BA
- CLS training in a USA program or if foreign trained, experience in a hospital based laboratory located in the USA.
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
- Ability to speak, read, and write fluently and professionally in English as well as follow verbal instructions with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work flexible shifts
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong communication skills
- Critical thinking skills
- Problem solving skills
- Basic computer skills
Nice To Haves
- 1-2 years previous experience preferred
