Requirements
- BA/BS degree preferred.
- A current and valid California State Clinical Laboratory Scientist License (CLS).
- 3+ years recent experience as a CLS in a clinical laboratory setting.
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge of and to utilize the principles, theories, practices, methodologies and techniques required of a Clinical Laboratory Scientist.
- Function competently as a Licensed Clinical Laboratory Scientist in a high-volume Laboratory demonstrating knowledge of principles, theories, practices, techniques.
- Ability to work a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays. Must be available to cover all 3 locations (Santa Monica, Encino, Thousand Oaks) as needed or requested.
Responsibilities
- Precision Testing: You will lead pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical testing across all CLIA complexities.
- Andrology Excellence: You’ll perform critical semen analysis, morphological examinations, and semen washing for IUI and cryopreservation.
- Endocrinology Mastery: Hormone testing using the Beckman-Coulter Access 2, ensuring quality results.
- Leadership: You will monitor and troubleshoot QA/QC protocols and provide vital supervision to our dedicated Andrology/Endocrine laboratory staff.
