About The Position

The Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) position is a Per Diem role located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA. This position assists in the operation of the Laboratory by performing specialized tasks involving medical laboratory testing. The CLS performs and reports results of tests and assumes responsibility for accuracy. Additionally, the CLS assists in training and orientation of new technologists, directs the work of laboratory assistants and auxiliary personnel, and maintains a working knowledge of departmental standard operating procedures. The role requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of Corona Regional Medical Center, demonstrating behavior consistent with the core values, and supporting the strategic plan and performance improvement goals.

Requirements

• Current California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License required.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized tasks involving medical laboratory testing.
• Perform and report results of tests, ensuring accuracy.
• Assist in training and orientation of new technologists.
• Direct work of laboratory assistants and auxiliary personnel.
