The individual must demonstrate knowledge of Quality Control, calibration, and standardization of instruments, exercising good judgment and proper interpretation of Quality Control data. Responsibilities include troubleshooting instruments, performing routine preventive maintenance, and demonstrating knowledge of the laboratory computer system regarding ordering, reporting, and verifying results. Familiarity with laws and regulations applicable to the laboratory is essential. The role also involves training new employees and demonstrating knowledge of age-specific care for populations including infants, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. The individual must communicate effectively and incorporate the mission of 'quality care with compassion and respect' into daily job functions. Additionally, the position requires the ability to communicate problems to the supervisor, respond to priority specifications for tests, and understand VBP goals and targets. The individual is accountable for achieving core measures and supporting compliance with the Code of Conduct and applicable laws and regulations.
