Requirements

• Bachelors Degree with Major in a biological science, or US military equivalent.
• Five years experience as a Clinical Lab Scientist.
• 1 year internship in a hospital clinical laboratory.
• Clinical Lab Scientist:CA (CLS:CA)

Responsibilities

• Accountable for the coordination of the assigned subspecialty(ies).
• Oversight of the technical aspects of the department section(s).
• Quality control oversight and management.
• Provides accurate and timely test results in a cost-effective manner.
• Reviews, evaluates, coordinates and assists in the development and implementation of the department goals and objectives as they apply to the current CAP, TJC, DHS, CLIA, FDA, OSHA and other regulatory agencies.
• Performs the duties of a Clinical Laboratory Scientist.
